Actress Kriti Sanon has made her name in Bollywood with hits like Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Mimi. The actress, who is adored by fans and cinephiles alike for her versatility and unique fashion statements, recently opened up about working on the sets of the upcoming pan-India epic drama Aadi Purush opposite Prabhas. It has come out in the open.
During a candid chat with Bollywood Hingama, a fan questioned what amazing quality of Prabhas sets him apart from his contemporaries and whether she would be eager to work with the Baahubali actor again.
The actress replied, “I would love to work with him again, I had a great time working with him… something unique about him apart from the food… I think in his eyes. There’s something strangely pure. Sometimes, I’ve seen shots of him like, when the camera is really close, he does it with his eyes and you can really feel everything he’s feeling.”
She added, “I think she’s one of those people whose eyes are really expressive and very deep and something very pure, which I also feel is perfect for the part. One reason is because he has a sense of goodness. And purity in his eyes.”
Earlier this week, Kriti Sanon achieved another feat as she finally hit 50 million followers on Instagram taking her place among celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. Marking the happy occasion, Kriti shared a heartfelt video giving a shout out to her fans and thanking them for their love and support. The video snippets showcased several highlights and scenes from his career in several critically acclaimed films such as Heropanti, Raabta, Loka Chappi, Pati Patni Aur Vah, and many others.
Not only that, but the video also included some rare behind-the-scenes footage from her YouTube channel and her daily life. He captioned it, “As mummy says “Fan following hai meri yeh par han!” 50 million love and counting. Love you guys #50milliononInsta.”
On the professional front, Kriti Sanon is all set to work with Shahid Kapoor and Dinesh Vijan for the first time in a unique love story. Expected to hit the silver screen by the end of 2022, a source close to the development has revealed that the Mimi actress has been finalized to play the lead role. The film will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi and several European countries over a period of 4 to 5 months. Expected to be Maddock Films’ biggest love story ever, this ambitious project is helmed by a new director.
