‘We all get together once a week’

Actor Aamir Khan is currently busy preparing for the release of his upcoming film Lal Singh Chadha. The superstar is leaving no stone unturned to woo fans for the premiere of the film and to promote the same, he recently hit the couch of popular chat show Koffee with Karan Season 7. According to a report in Indian Express, Aamir Khan. Will be seen inaugurating this film. Today’s episode talks about his personal life and his equation with ex-wives Reena Dutta and Karan Rao.

During the show, Aamir Khan asserted that he had a happy relationship with his ex-wives. They explained that no matter what happens, they will always be a family. “I have the utmost respect and admiration for both of them. We will always be a family.”

The actor added that he plans to meet the two at least once every week. Although their relationship has ended, Aamir confirmed that there is genuine care that they feel for each other. He concluded, “We all get together once a week, no matter how busy we are. There is a lot of genuine care, love and respect for each other.”

Aamir Khan shares two children – Ira and Junaid Khan – with his first wife Reena Dutta. The actor later married Kiran Rao and welcomed his son Azad Rao Khan. However, just last year, the couple announced their amicable separation via social media.

This is not the first time that Aamir Khan has opened up about his relationship with Reena Dutta and Karan Rao. In a previous conversation with News18, the star confirmed that he is young and has so much to learn in the acting industry that he is unable to fulfill his responsibilities to his family.

“Somewhere I did not fulfill my responsibilities. I will start with my parents, my siblings, my first wife – Reena ji, Karan ji, Reena’s parents, Karan’s parents, and my children, all these people I am talking about are close to me. . When I joined the film industry when I was 18 years old, I was so absorbed, I wanted to learn so much, I wanted to do so much that somewhere — I realize today — the people around me were, I could not give them. Time the way I wanted it. They are important to me,” he said.

Lal Singh Chadha directed by Advaita Chandan is a remake of the American film Forrest Gump. Apart from Aamir, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh are playing important roles in the film. Lal Singh Chadha is all set to hit the big screen on August 11.
