Telugu actor Vishwak Sen’s latest film Ashoka Vanamlu Arjun Kalyanam which had a moderate run in theaters is now gearing up to air on Telugu channel Gemini TV on 7th August. On the occasion of the world television premiere of the family drama, Gemini TV shared a short promo. Featuring Vishwak, Rashkar Dhillon, and Ritika Naik.
The video clip features Vishwak Sen in a comic role while Ritika Naik is his on-screen wife. In the video, the couple is seen smitten with each other as they romance each other in the midst of a family drama. Vishwak and Rashkar’s chemistry in the video is unforgettable.
Directed by popular Telugu director Vidyasagar Chanta, Ashoka Vanamlu Arjun Kalyanam revolves around a 40-year-old man who is looking for a bride. After attending a matchmaking ceremony, he falls for a woman and decides to win her heart.
Although the film was loved and appreciated by the audience, it failed to leave a mark on the critics. Ashoka Vanamalu Arjun Kalyanam had a short run in theatres. Released on 6 May this year, the film made a worldwide box office collection of Rs 4.47 crore against a budget of Rs 5.96 crore.
Apart from Vishwak and Ritika, the film also stars Rashkar Dhillon, Rajkummar Kasireddy, Dubbing Janaki, and Kadambari Karan. Ashoka Vanamlu Arjun Kalyanam will air on Gemini TV on August 7 at 6 PM.
Vishwak Sen is currently busy with the shooting of the film Makachatharam. Directed by Gangadhar Rajarapu, Makachatharam hosts a star-studded cast of Vikas Vashishta, Chaitanya Rao, Ayesha Khan, and Priya Vidalmani, who have all been assigned pivotal roles. Vishwak will play the role of a lawyer Vishwamitra.
Apart from Makachatharam, Vishwak is also part of the remake of the Tamil film O My Kadule which is jointly produced by Sri Venkateshwar Cinema and PVP Cinema.
