Along with unveiling their official jersey, the Mumbai franchise also announced Vijay Hazare as their captain for the season. It was unveiled and announced by team owners Puneet Balan, Janhvi Dhariwal Balan and Bollywood rapper Badshah at a star-studded event. Addressing the gathering, Mumbai Players owner Badshah expressed, “I have an emotional connection with Kho Kho as my mother played the sport at the state level. Vijay Hazare, who hails from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, has been named the captain of the Mumbai team. On his appointment, Hazare expressed, “I would like to thank the owners and coaches for putting their faith in me. We have a lot of young players.
