A group of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers protested against Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan during the convocation ceremony at Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU) in Madhepura on Wednesday.
State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Cabinet Minister Bijender Yadav were also present on the occasion.
The protest against late sessions and corruption in universities against the governor, who is also the chancellor of the universities, was led by ABVP state president Abhishek Kumar and his supporters.

Due to the protest, there was chaos in the venue. The police present at the venue tried to stop and silence the protestors and then removed them from the venue.
“The present management of the universities is taking Bihar’s education to the bottom. Corruption is rampant in the universities. We have protested against corruption from time to time and we did the same in Madhepura,” Abhishek Kumar said. said
