According to the AFP news agency, Taiwan’s military said Chinese aircraft and ships operating in the Taiwan Strait were simulating an attack on its main island.
Taiwan’s defense ministry said in a statement that forces “detected several shipments of communist aircraft and ships operating around the Taiwan Strait, some of which crossed the median line.”
They were decided to replicate the attack on the main island of Taiwan.”
