KK’s kids Tamara and Nikol Krishna have released a new version of the song Yarun by various singers including Shaan, Benny Dayal, Papon, and others.
In the video shared on KK’s Instagram page, the late singer’s children Nicole and Tamara Papon are seen singing along with Shaan, Benny Dayal and Dhavani Bhanushali.
Singer KK’s death this May was one of the most shocking news of the year so far. The iconic singer gifted us with some evergreen tracks about love, friendship and heartbreak. One of the popular and favorite songs from his vast discography is Yaroon. Considered an anthem of friendship, the song talks about making memories and emphasizes that people may not be there anymore but their memories will live on. Ahead of Friendship Day, the late singer’s children Tamara and Nikol Krishna released a new version of the song sung by various singers including Shaan, Benny Dayal, Papon and others.
In the video shared on KK’s Instagram page, Nicole and Tamara are seen singing along with Papon, Shaan, Benny Dayal and Dhavani Bhanushali. It also has glimpses of KK’s past performances. Sharing the video on her Instagram page, Nicole wrote, “Check out guys! ‘Yaroon’ forever! It was a bittersweet experience for me. While recording a few lines of the same song in the same booth, dad felt I sang in the special, but I also missed sharing such a moment with him. In a weird way we finally sang together na @taamara.krishna? I really appreciate everyone who sang and We had our share of it and I love how it turned out, hope you guys will too. It’s always about love and friendship.”

KK alias Krishna Kumar Kannath died in May after performing a concert at the Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata. The singer was not feeling well, and suffered a heart attack shortly after the concert ended. His death shocked the nation, and his family was devastated. KK’s wife Jyothi recently shared a painting of herself with her late husband, and wrote how much she misses him.
