Lu Ranjan’s yet-to-be-titled film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles has reportedly been put on hold. This comes after a massive fire broke out at Chitrakot Studio in Mumbai’s Andheri West on Friday. According to Times of India, Ranbir and Shraddha were not shooting at the studio when the fire broke out. However, both the actors had to resume shooting in the same studio in a couple of days.
“Lo Ranjan had to complete one of the biggest songs of the film on this set. 400 dancers were to be a part of the song. He had already shot part of the song with Shraddha Kapoor, who was his intro. song. She fell ill and the shoot had to be halted while Ranbir Kapoor was scheduled to join his post ‘Shamsheera’ release. The team had to resume shooting later in the day,” the source claimed, quoting the news portal. .
All three floors of the seat were burnt. Both Rajshri and Lu Ranjan packed their seats as soon as the fire broke out. There is some chaos because people are saying some staff members are missing, we don’t have the exact details yet,” said the FWICE member.
Meanwhile, actor Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer was on the set when the fire broke out. However, the security team quickly pulled him out.
Talking about Ranbir and Shraddha’s film, this will be the first time that the two actors will share screen space. The film also marks Ranbir and Shraddha’s first collaboration with director Lu Ranjan. Last month, a picture of the actors from their Spain shooting schedule went viral on social media. The film will release on Holi next year i.e. March 8, 2023.
