PM Modi will inaugurate India’s largest private hospital Amrita Hospital in Faridabad on August 24.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate Amrita Hospital in Faridabad on August 24, 2022. The 2,400-bed healthcare facility, sponsored by Mata Amritandamai Mutt, will be India’s largest private sector hospital.

According to a press release, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other dignitaries along with Mata Amrtanandamai Devi (Amman) will be present at the inauguration.

Amrita Hospital, Kochi has performed India’s first two double hand transplants and the country’s first upper arm double hand transplant along with several other procedures. Surgery has been initiated, and this knowledge has been passed on to Amrita Hospital, Faridabad,” said Dr Sanjeev K Singh, resident medical director of the hospital.

The facility in Faridabad Sector-88 will have a total built-up area of ​​1 crore square feet with a 14-storey tower. It will be home to 81 specialties and eight centers of excellence, including oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, gastrosciences, renal sciences, bone diseases and trauma, transplants, and maternal and child care. The hospital will also have India’s largest facility for dealing with infectious diseases.

“This is one of the largest green building healthcare projects in the country with a very low carbon footprint, and is an end-to-end paperless facility with zero waste discharge,” the release added.

Faridabad Hospital is the second largest Amrita Hospital in India after the 1,200-bed Amrita Hospital, Kochi, which was established 25 years ago by Mata Amrtanandamai Mutt.
