Nusrat Bharucha to film for horror sequel this November? Here’s what we know

When Nusrat Bharucha made her breakthrough with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 directed by Lu Ranjan, there was no turning back for the stunning actress. Over the years, she acted in hits like Sonu’s Tito Ki Sweety, Dream Girl and Akhbi Dasan. Last year, she took things up a notch with her performance in Vishal Foria’s OTT release Chhoori. The film was well received by the audience. Soon after its success, the makers announced a possible sequel titled ‘Chhoori 2’ which will go on floors in November.

A source told eTimes that the Akashvani actress is likely to return to the horror film franchise later this year. “Nushrat is very excited to start shooting for Chhuri 2. She is looking forward to meeting her co-stars and recreating the world of ‘Chhuri’ with her director Vishal Phoria and the new cast she is looking for. are doing,” the source said.

The actress will go to the sets of the film in November. She is currently gearing up for Chuwri and other upcoming projects. He is in Hyderabad for his film which is currently under completion, followed by other work commitments in Mumbai,” the source added.

Chhoori was a horror film produced primarily by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davies, Shikha Sharma and Shiv Chana. It was a Hindi remake of the Marathi film Lipachchapi and starred Nusrat Bharucha in the lead role along with Meeta Vishisht, Rajesh Jais and Saurabh Goyal. The story depicts the life of a married couple, who are forced to leave their home and take refuge in a remote house. However, the wife soon experiences supernatural events that threaten her life.

Meanwhile, Nusrat will soon be seen in Abhishek Sharma’s action-adventure drama directed by Ram Sethu alongside Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Sathya Dev. The film will follow an archaeologist investigating the nature of Ram Setu. The actress is also shooting for Raj Mehta’s Selfie, a remake of the 2019 Malayalam-language comedy-drama Driving License.

The original film was directed by Lal Junior from a script by Sachi. It revolves around a superstar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who was famous for his driving skills but lost his license. However, matters spiral out of control when he locks horns with a motor inspector (Suraj Venjaramudhu), who happens to be a fan of the actor.
