Hussamuddin used his quick hands and nimble footwork to overpower his opponent.

The Indian maintained his form from the start and did not allow his opponent to take the initiative in any of the three rounds.

While the South African tried his best to trouble the experienced Indian, Hassamuddin was ready to deny his opponent an opening.

Hassamuddin will face Bangladesh’s Muhammad Saleem Hussain in the next round for a place in the quarterfinals.
