By now, we’ve all come to terms with the fact that Akshay Kumar is truly unstoppable. As he hits the theaters with his comedy family drama Raksha Bandhan on August 11, the first look of his upcoming film titled Capsule Gul has gone viral recently. Now, Parineeti Chopra has made it official that she will once again be sharing screen space with her Kesari co-star, in Capsule Gill. Leaving a sun-kissed photo of herself and Akshay, the actress took to her Instagram handle to announce the news saying, ‘They’re back.’ Needless to say, fans and followers of the actors got very excited with the surprising news.
Posting the picture, the actress wrote in the caption, “We are back. This time the Kesari duo may be shooting in York, but the laughter, jokes, games and Punjabi gossip are the same. Parineeti ended the caption by mentioning Hashtag Pooja Entertainment, which is producing under the direction of Tinu Suresh Desai. In the picture, the Kesari stars can be seen sitting on the stairs holding each other’s hands. The picture, which was clicked in York, England, shows them dressed in their casual attire and flashing their million dollar smiles at the camera. Parineeti can be seen wearing a pink hoodie over black shorts and matching shoes. And as always, Akshay looks dapper in a black t-shirt and white joggers.
For the uninitiated, Capsule Gill is based on the true story of late Chief Mining Engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 miners trapped in a coal mine. Moreover, the film marks Akshay’s second collaboration with filmmaker Desai, who last worked with him in Rustam (2016). The first look of the film, which was leaked earlier, shows Akshay in a turban. This look of the actor went viral on social media and created a sensation among the audience. Fans expressed their excitement to see him in Punjabi avatar. In another picture, he was seen sitting on a bike. Capsule Gul will hit theaters next year.
Apart from Capsule Gul and Raksha Bandhan, Akshay also has Ram Sethu, which is expected to release theatrically in October this year. Meanwhile, Parineeti will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatiya’s directorial film Height, in which she will share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Boman Irani, and Danny Denzongappa. The film will release on November 11.
