Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday appealed to Amarnath pilgrims to plan to visit the holy cave before August 5, in view of bad weather and more rains forecast thereafter. The annual Amarnath Yatra will officially conclude on August 11. “More than three lakh devotees from across the country have had darshan of Baba. Baba is not in shape due to rising temperature, and nature is not cooperating.
Sinha said, “There has been heavy rain in several areas. I would like to request devotees from across the country, whose darshan is yet to come, to come before August 5 as more rain is predicted after that. said Sinha.
