Jet Airways unveiled the first look of its new flight booking website.

Taking to Twitter, Jet Airways CEO Sanjeev Kapoor revealed the first look of the new Jet Airways website. He joined Jet Airways on April 4, 2022, having previously served as President at the Oberoi Group.

Jet Airways has received all necessary permits to resume operations in September 2022. The website presents its former cabin crew in a classic black and white theme. Jet Airways is making a comeback using B&W with a brand new website.

The website will allow users to book flight tickets with Jet Airways and will include sections such as check-in, flight status, and travel information as well as mandatory login. The airline is on track to start booking flights as it plans to resume operations in September.

The launch date of Jet Airways’ flight booking website has not been clarified yet. It is one of those rare moments for the travel industry to witness the return of an airline after more than 3 years in the highly competitive Indian aviation industry.

IndiGo already rules the Indian skies with a 56% market share in terms of airline passengers. Also, Go First and SpiceJet are leading the way in a competitive market.

The new TATA Air India management is working hard to outshine its predecessor TATA Airlines, with Vistara leading the premium market and AirAsia ruling the southern region. The new airline, Akasa Air is looking strong and bringing something new and sustainable to the plate. Jet Airways’ comeback here seems a bit difficult.

The airline has started recruitment for various positions through its Twitter handle. Jet Airways is actively hiring for Pilots, Cabin Crew, Flight Operations, Engineering Department, Ground Level Positions, Manager Level Jobs etc.

The NCLT is hearing the Jet Airways case and has given the airline a green signal to resume operations. Jet Airways has received its AOC from DGCA to start operations once they are ready. Jet Airways is looking forward to buying 50 Airbus A220 aircraft and this will be the first time an Indian airline has ordered one. The current fleet of the jet consists of 4 Boeing 737 and 5 Boeing 777-300ER which are wholly owned by the company.

According to sources, Jet Airways is looking to start its operations on August 7, 2022, similar to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route with the inaugural flight of Aksa Air.
