Basseterre (St. Kitts): Cricket West Indies (CWI) said the start of Monday’s second T20I between India and West Indies has been postponed to 1:30 pm local time, Indian Standard Time ( IST) will be at 11 PM.

“The second match in the Gold Medal T20 Cup, between West Indies and India, presented by Kent Water Purifiers, will now start at 1:30 pm local time – more information will be provided later,” CWI said. An official update from said.
Earlier, the CWI had issued a statement, saying that the start of the second T20I will be from 10.30 am local time (8 pm IST) to 12.30 pm (10 pm IST) and Jamaica to 11:30 am local time) was advanced by two hours.

Now, according to their latest update, the start of the second T20I at Warner Park has been pushed forward by another hour. This means the toss could be at 1 PM local time, which is 10.30 AM IST.
The CWI cited significant delays in the team’s equipment arriving in St Kitts from Trinidad as the reason for the postponement of the match. “Due to circumstances beyond CWI’s control, there has been a significant delay in arrival of critical team supplies from Trinidad to St. Kitts.”
“As a result, today’s second Gold Medal T20 Cup match is scheduled to start at 12:30 pm (11:30 am Jamaica/10 pm India). CWI apologizes for any inconvenience caused to our valued fans, sponsors, broadcast partners and all other stakeholders. Stadium gates now open at 10am”
India currently lead the five-match T20I series against the West Indies 1-0 after Friday’s 68-run victory at the Brian Lara Stadium in Taruba, Trinidad.
The visitors, led by stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan, had earlier won the ODI series 3-0 with all matches played at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
