Students of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras have requested the administration not to allow laborers and workers to enter student areas including the hostel and campus at night. The IIT-M management had organized an identification parade of about 300 people, including workers. During the parade on Tuesday, the student identified the culprit, and IIT-Madras officials immediately informed the police.
