Svetek was 18-0 on clay this season, won titles in Stuttgart, Rome and Roland Garros, and dropped just two sets on the surface in 2022.
Garcia will face Italy’s Jasmine Paulini for a place in the Warsaw final. Paulini recovered from a poor start to beat Switzerland’s Viktorija Golobic 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
In the second semi-final, Ukraine’s Kateryna Bandel will face Romania’s Anna Bogdan.
