Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard have been friends for a long time now. Thanks to their chemistry since their time together at Mumbai Indians, the pair’s relationship has grown stronger with time. Both Pollard and Pandya have the same all-round skills on the field, their personalities off the field are similar. Cool, calm and bright. And so the Pandyas were always considered West Indian first and then Indian. The 29-year-old all-rounder also has a huge fan following in the Caribbean.

The Baroda all-rounder tweeted where he also shared some pictures, “No trip to the Caribbean is complete without a visit to the king’s house ❤️❤️ Polly my favorite and your beautiful family, yours for hosting my brother. Thanks.”

Meanwhile, back in cricket, India’s vice-captain for the ongoing T20I series against West Indies credited captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid for ensuring freedom, flexibility and increased communication for the players.

“Ro gives you a lot of flexibility and freedom which is his strength during his captaincy,” Hardik Pandya said after taking a 2-1 lead in the five-match series against the Windies.

“Here again, a lot of credit goes to him and Rahul Dravid for the way they have brought the team together and made sure that there is a lot of positive thinking and the players feel safe. They are not looking over their shoulder. Making sure that they are getting enough opportunities. If they are not playing, they are also being told, and that is something that is commendable,” added Pandya.
