Polio in Pakistan: A worldwide campaign is being launched to prevent the spread of the polio virus. Polio mainly affects children under the age of five. As a result, children suffer from diseases like paralysis. The only way to prevent polio is through vaccines. But radical organizations and alleged religious leaders in Pakistan are spreading rumors of impotence due to the polio vaccine.

Not only this, a team of health workers is also being attacked in Pakistan and its environs to prevent children from taking polio medicine. On Saturday, more shots were fired by the polio vaccination team in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district of Pakistan. Several people were injured. Let me tell you that this is the third attack on the polio team in Pakistan.

Earlier on Tuesday, unidentified assailants killed three people, including two policemen, guarding a polio vaccination team in North Waziristan district. Terrorists shot dead a female polio worker in northwest Pakistan in March this year.

Polio cases increased in these areas.
