During the war, a Russian man married a Ukrainian woman in India

Russian-Israeli citizen Sergey Novkov married his Ukrainian girlfriend Ilona Bramuka.— Times of India.

In the midst of the war between Russia and Ukraine, under “normal” circumstances, two people who were out to kill each other unite as a couple and get married in Himachal Pradesh, India.

Sergei Novkov, an Israeli citizen from Russia, married his Ukrainian girlfriend Ilona Bramuka. They had been dating for a few years.

The couple chose the peaceful city of Dharamshala to tie the knot.

Pandit Sandeep Sharma, priest of the temple, said that Sergei and Ilona had been living in Dharamkot for a year. He was living with a family who also helped him in the marriage.

Pandit Raman Sharma of the same ashram got married.

Ilona wore a beautiful Indian bridal dress, so did Sergio. Host Vinod Sharma took care of the wedding rituals by arranging a befitting “barat” for the bride.
