#Mohua Moitra Use a bag worth Rs 2 lakh. It is really hypocritical when someone talks about inflation and uses such expensive bags. https://t.co/GCoW4SjAkB

Inflation and inflation were topics on which the opposition has been questioning the government since the beginning of the monsoon session of Parliament. The disruption continued, following which the government agreed to discuss the price hike issue in the Lok Sabha on Monday and the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
Moitra recently courted controversy after her comments on Goddess Kali. He created a political storm after calling Kali a “meat-eating, alcohol-accepting deity”. However, Moitra refused to budge from his stand and called the controversy a “false passion of the BJP and its trolls”. In an exclusive interview with News18, he also cleared the air on his party while distancing himself from his thoughts.
“My statement was one of fact and based on my experience of how Maa Kali is worshiped by her devotees and what she represents to me. I do not see any contradiction in it. The controversy between the BJP and its is the false passion of the trolls who use religion as a tool to divert attention from their agenda of dividing the citizens of this country. They want to impose their monolithic ideology of Hinduism on every Hindu. Where they will decide who is Hindu and who is not and how to worship our deities,” he told News18.
