After this, this train is the first train in the country to be given the Satok certificate.

IRCTC has chosen to obtain this accreditation for certain trains traveling to holy places.

If you plan to travel by Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express, you should note that you can no longer carry or eat non-vegetarian food on board. Passengers on the Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Katra will be accommodated in a completely vegetarian environment and not just in terms of the food served to the passengers. The waiters would not have handled non-vegetarian food, and the kitchen in which they would be prepared would have handled nothing but vegetarian food. Cleaning agents, soaps, and other similar products would also be ‘neutral’ materials.

After this, this train is the first train in the country to be given the Satok certificate. IRCTC, through an agreement with the NGO Satok Council of India, has chosen to obtain this accreditation for certain trains traveling to holy places from Vande Bharat in Jammu and Kashmir to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra. . Delhi Katra train is the first train to get the accreditation. According to an analyst at the Satok Council of India, there are plans to replicate this in 18 more trains from Vande Bharat to Varanasi. There are also plans to run normal trains to Satuk after the campaign ends.

Abhishek Biswas, founder of the Satok Council of India, claims that several procedures had to be cleared before the Vande Bharat train was awarded the Satok certificate. It reviewed cooking techniques, kitchen, serving and storage items and how to store them. The certificate was issued only after completing the entire process.

Vegetarians and vegans are becoming an increasingly important customer group in the travel industry and, according to the Stouk Council, they seek a vegetarian environment and food.
