A case has been registered at Bhondi police station on Ritu’s complaint and the matter is being investigated, police said.

A couple was allegedly beaten up by a group of bouncers at the Ghamroz toll plaza on the Gurugram-Sohna road, police said on Thursday.

According to the police, Ritu Yadav was going from Raisina to Maruti Kunj in her car with her husband and children on Tuesday.

On reaching the toll plaza, he asked the toll worker to remove the barrier and allow his vehicle to pass. However, the toll worker refused to remove the barrier. When Ritu got down from the vehicle and tried to remove the barricade herself, she was attacked by a bouncer, said Devendra Kumar, SHO of Bhondi police station.

Another bouncer came and jumped on the bonnet of the car. Ritu has also alleged that the bouncers touched her inappropriately, the officer said.
