Vivo Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will hold Season 9 Player Auction on August 5-6, 2022 in Mumbai. All the 12 teams are currently working on their player auction strategy and are eager to build strong squads for the upcoming Season 9.

Speaking ahead of the player auction, Sandeep Turkas (CEO, Bengal Warriors) said, “Every auction involves a lot of preparation and this time is no different. We are looking forward to the auction. Like every team, we Looking to build a strong mix through the auction, and are fine-tuning our strategies for it in the weeks leading up to the auction. We are looking forward to finding some new stars who will set the auction on fire and excite the fans. Will create a lot of excitement!

Meanwhile, Keerthy Muralikrishnan (CEO, Bengaluru Bulls) said, “The player auction is the most important time for any team as it is the only chance for the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League to build the strongest team. We have a few players in mind that we would like to acquire and we are confident that we will be able to build a strong outfit for the coming season.

Dabang Delhi CK Director, Durganath Wagle expressed, “This is going to be a very interesting player auction as for the first time the auction pool will also include youth players from the Khelo India University Games 2021. VIVO Pro Kabaddi League has always offered young players. It has provided a platform to reach for the stars and we are hoping to get a lot of youngsters this season who we hope will be the future for us.

The Vivo PKL Player Auction will be telecast live on Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar from August 5, 6:30 PM onwards.
