Angry Canadian man destroys luxury homes with backhoe in ‘revenge’ after being fired

There is no denying the fact that getting fired is one of the most terrifying experiences a person can go through. While some see it as a life lesson, others find it hard to rebuild their confidence and reapply for a new job. For example, recently, a Canadian man vandalized his ex-boss’s property because he was angry after being fired. He allegedly retaliated by destroying luxury lake homes in Muskoka, Ontario.

Video of the demolition was tweeted by a user named Don Tapscott, who also owns a lake house in the same area, and the footage is now making the rounds on the Internet. Posting the video, Dawn wrote in the caption, “You can’t do this. Upset with a marina near our lake home, a fired employee tore into and destroyed the entire marina with an excavator. Anyone have more information on what happened?” The now-viral video shows a man using a bulldozer machine to demolish one of the lakefront properties. According to The Sun, police Later arrived on scene at the Pride of Russo Marina in Muskoka Lakes.

The fired employee, a 59-year-old man, was reportedly charged with mischief related to the incident. In addition, the report also states that he was also fined £3,200, which is due to appear in court at a later date. While Dawn tweeted the footage on July 28, the report said it was captured on July 21. The Sun quoted SWS Muskoka owner Geordie Newlands as saying the vandalism was “shocking”. Marines in these areas are reportedly operated by SWS Muskoka. In addition, the 59-year-old has damaged multiple buildings, and Geordi added that repairs will cost millions.
