Jhanvi Kapoor recently starred in the black comedy film Good Luck Jerry, a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamav Kokila starring Nayanthara. After watching the trailer of the Hindi remake, Nayanthara praised Janhvi in a statement and wished her all the best. Now, in her recent chat with Pink Villa, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about her brief conversation with the South diva about Good Luck Jerry.

In response to his text, Nayanthara informed the young star that she was working for her upcoming film and was proud of her decision to play such a challenging role in the early stages of her career. Janhvi continued, “And she actually responded, which was really exciting for me, and she said, ‘Good luck, and rooting for you,’ and she said, ‘Proud of you in your career. Doing such a thing so quickly.’ I was like this is a big one, this is a huge one. I was just so excited that he responded.”
