The NBA Draft has always been a hotbed of trade, but 2022 promises to be particularly obsessive. Agreements have already been reached by competing teams seeking high selection, and are auctioning off pieces ranging from rebuilding franchises to contemplating the future.

The biggest name to change teams on Thursday night was Forward Jeremy Grant, who went from the Detroit Pistons to the Portland Trail Blazer. Grant will now try to help Damien Leylard and Blazer get back into the playoffs, while the Pistons added a first-round pick of the future and improved their second-rounder by a score. 46 to 36.
